Co-Founder | Candle Making Queen | Wax & Production Department
Cassia is the hand behind every single hey sunshine! candle and wax melt. She carefully sources our fragrances, tests them, pours them, and make sure every product leaving us is something she's proud of.
If it smells incredible, she chose it.
She's Suki's human, mum to her brilliant (and very energetic) three-year-old little boy, and is often caught singing along to Bluey while pouring wax. Multitasking level: elite.
She's calm, creative and completely in her element when she's making candles.

Leanne
Co-Founder | Admin & Tech | Organised Chaos Department
Leanne is the brain behind the screens. She primarily manages the website, marketing, planning, tech and all the "behind-the-scenes" bits that keep hey sunshine! running smoothly.
She's fuelled by motivational one-liners, and a slightly concerning attachment to her dog, Ollie.
If there's a spreadsheet, a plan, or a big vision for the future - it's probably hers.
She's passionate about building something meaningful, growing something intentional, and making hey sunshine! feel like more than just candles.

Suki
Luxury & Vibes Manager
Suki is Cassia’s little wild child and full-time overseer of standards.
She takes her role in ambience very seriously, ensuring the workspace maintains a level of comfort and elegance appropriate for a brand of this calibre. She knows what she wants - and what she expects everyone else to be doing too.
She brings the diva to the team (in the best way), balances her daily outdoor exploration with executive supervision, and still finds time for a well-earned snuggle at the end of a long day.

Ollie
Pawsitive Energy Manager
Ollie is Leanne's 9-year-old Cavachon who oversees team morale from the comfort of the sofa, ensuring every candle is packed with pawsitive energy.
He specialises in emotional support, enforcing unplanned break reminders, and proudly (and loudly) notifying the team when the postman arrives with important candle deliveries.
He may not understand spreadsheets or scent sourcing, but he fully understands vibes - and he makes sure they stay positive.
